Howdy! I'm Zed Tiger, or Zedrov Tatarov Petrovich! I'm a 7.5-foot-tall legally-blind anthropomorphic inflatable gargoyle-winged tiger of Russian-American parents, born in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States, who now lives somewhere in the mountains of southeastern Kentucky.

I design, build, and collect inflatable and plush toys. I also collect and enjoy balloons!

My other non-work interests center around video games, especially classic computer games (80's, 90's) and video game consoles from similar eras. I'm also more specifically into vintage and modern FPS titles, as well as military simulation, SWAT simulation, and flight simulation titles. Despite my poor vision, I do well with and enjoy VR quite a lot too!

By day, I am a "tier 3" IT consultant focusing on Unified Communications/Unified Collaboration, Linux/BSD, PHP/Python development, VMware ESXi/vSphere, and IBM AIX on POWER hardware, just to name a few.

I lost control of this domain in 2021 during a very rough time in my life where I suffered a house fire and am glad to finally have it back. Pardon my virtual dust as I'll be likewise rebuilding my home here on the web in the coming days, hope you'll decide to join me on this little journey!

PS: I have semi-recently learned there is also a "Zedd Tiger" in the fandom, incidentally also from North Carolina, sometimes I get mistakenly tagged rather than them on things like X/Bluesky. We are two different, distinct, awesome people, just throwing it out there that we are separate people!
